Installing BotBee Google Sheets Extensions
You can install BotBee Smart Triggers using the following method:
Install from Google Sheets:
- Open your Google Sheet.
- Click Extensions in the top menu.
- Select Add-ons → Get add-ons.

- Search for BotBee and Click Install.
- Review and allow all the required permissions to complete the installation.

BotBee Sheet Connect – Features:
Once you've installed the extension, you can configure it using the following options:
1. Active Sheet:
- Choose the Google Sheet that you want BotBee to monitor.
- Select the sheet where your data is being added.
- The extension will monitor only the selected sheet.

2. Column Selection:
- Choose which columns you want to send in the webhook payload.
- You can select columns in different ways:
- Range: A-D | Specific Columns: A, C, E | Mixed Selection: A-B, D, F-H
- If you leave this field blank, BotBee will send data from all columns.

3. First Row Header:
Enable this option if the first row of your sheet contains column headings.
When enabled, The header names become the JSON keys in the webhook payload.
This makes the data easier to understand and map in your application.

4. Where Is New Data Added:
- Tell BotBee where new rows are inserted in your sheet.
- Bottom: Choose this if new rows are added at the end of the sheet.
- Top: Choose this if new rows are inserted at the top of the sheet.
- This ensures the extension correctly detects every new entry.

5. Webhook URL:
- Connect your webhook endpoint to receive data automatically.
- Add up to 10 webhook URLs.
- The same data can be sent to multiple applications at the same time.

6. Automatic Detection:
- Enable Automatic Detection to make the extension work in real time.
- Detects every newly added row automatically.
- Triggers the webhook instantly.
- No manual refresh or action required.

7. Reset Row Counter:
- Use this option when you want BotBee to ignore all existing rows.
- Marks the current rows as already processed.
- Starts monitoring only the rows added after the reset.

8. Test & Preview:
- Before using the extension with live data, you can test your setup.
- Sends a sample payload from your sheet.
- Helps verify that your webhook is receiving the correct data before automation begins.
- This ensures everything is working correctly before processing real records.

Example Workflow:
In this example, we'll configure BotBee Sheet Connect to monitor a Google Sheet named Demo 1. The sheet contains five following columns: Name, Phone Number, Order ID, Order Status and Order Amount. I’ll configure template webhook so that everytime I’ll add a new row, it will trigger the webhook and send template to the phone number.

- In BotBee, I’ve already made a message template to send for order placed.

- To get the webhook URL, we’ll go to webhook workflows under bot manager.
- Give a name and select the template.
- Copy the webhook URL provided.

Step 1: Webhook Configuration:
- Select the Active Sheet: Choose Demo 1 as the Active Sheet.
- Select the Columns: Set Column Selection to A-E.
- This means all five columns (Name, Phone Number, Order ID, Order Status and Order Amount) will be included in the webhook payload.
- Enable First Row Header: Turn First Row Header ON.
- Since the first row contains the column names, BotBee will use them as JSON keys in the webhook payload.

- Choose Where New Data Is Added: Select Bottom, This is because I’ll add the new data at the end of the sheet.
- Add Your Webhook URL: Paste your webhook URL into the Webhook URL field.
- Enable Automatic Detection: Turn Automatic Detection ON.
- Save the Settings.

Step 2: Test Your Setup:
- Write a demo data in the first row.
- Go back to botbee and click on “Capture Response”
- Click Test & Preview to send a sample payload and verify that your webhook is receiving the data correctly.

Step 3: Mapping the data in BotBee:
- Map all the data in BotBee.
- Save the workflow.
