What is an Indian Virtual Number?

An Indian Virtual Number starts with +91. It allows you to use WhatsApp Cloud API with your business. It can be connected to your BotBee account for WhatsApp automation, AI chatbots, customer support, and marketing campaigns.

KYC Verification Required

• Before purchasing or activating an Indian Virtual Number, you must complete your KYC (Know Your Customer) verification.

Complete your KYC here:

• Please ensure that all submitted information and documents are accurate and valid. Your virtual number can only be activated after successful KYC verification and approval.
• Note: Virtual Number activation may be delayed if KYC verification is incomplete or if additional documents are required.

Documents Required for KYC

Mandatory Documents:

• Aadhaar Card
• PAN Card

GST Certificate (If Applicable):

• GST Certificate is optional for individuals and businesses that do not have a GST registration.
• If your business is GST-registered, submitting a GST Certificate is mandatory.

Important Notes

• All submitted documents must be valid, clear, and match the applicant's details.
• Virtual Number activation will begin only after successful KYC verification and approval.
• Additional documents may be requested if required for verification purposes.
• Delays in KYC approval may delay the activation of your virtual number.

Important Information:

• Available Only for BotBee Customers: Indian Virtual Numbers are available only for active BotBee customers.
• Works with WhatsApp Cloud API: These numbers can only be used with WhatsApp Cloud API accounts.
• One Number = One WhatsApp Business Account: A virtual number can be connected to only one WhatsApp Business Account (WABA).

Once the number is activated:

• It cannot be moved to another WhatsApp Business Account.
• It cannot be reused for a different account.
• It cannot be reassigned to another business.

Renewal & Expiry

To continue using your virtual number, you must renew it before the expiry date.

If your number expires:

• You may reactivate it within 7 days.
• After 7 days, the number may be released permanently.
• We cannot guarantee that the same number will still be available after expiry.

Activation Requirement

• After your Virtual Number is activated or purchased, it must be connected to a WhatsApp Cloud API account within 48 hours.
• If the number is not connected within 48 hours, the number may be suspended, released, or become unavailable for use. BotBee cannot guarantee the availability of the number after this period.

Suspension or Ban Policy

• WhatsApp and Meta have their own policies.
• If your number is restricted, blocked, banned, or suspended because of policy violations, account issues, or platform decisions:
• No refund will be provided.
• No replacement number will be provided.
• No compensation will be provided.

Separate Billing

Virtual Number charges are separate from:

• BotBee Subscription Plans
• AI Calling Services
• AI Voice Agent Services
• Purchasing a virtual number does not include these services unless mentioned separately.
